Amber Rose and Blac Chyna tackle slut shaming on the VMAs red carpet

Amber Rose and Blac Chyna both wore outfits graffitied with all the derogatory words used about women on a daily basis – words like ‘b*tch’, ‘whore’, ‘gold digger’, ‘slut’.
They wore the insults on their sleeves to raise awareness of Amber’s upcoming Slut Walk in LA on October 3, an event aimed to raise awareness of everyday slut shaming and victim-blaming in sexual assault cases.

They were accompanied on the red carpet by two male models in black and white outfits, sprayed with the word ‘faggot’.

‘It has happened to me on so many different levels,’ she added. ‘I really have been through some things… I lived it. Maybe one day I’ll tell my story.
‘Until then I feel like if I can just help other women get through what they’ve been through, then that can also help me get to the next level in my life.’
